So I decided that I wanted to blog. I don't know that my day-to-day is really interesting enough to tell others about, however- I'd like to keep record of exciting events... especially since this is such a pivotal time in my life.
I haven't really ever been one for order or structure- so it's best that I let you know from the start that my thoughts are scattered and this blog will probably be an accurate picture of just that.
Kaci Lesley, you are the main inspiration for this blog, with that being said- I figured it would be fun for me to start my first blog by making a list of 100 things I love/am grateful for..!!

96. What's App- it keeps all the Smiths connected since we don't all live in the same place.
95. New Girl and the humor of Zooey Deschanel... and everyone on that show.
94. Old episodes of Grey's Anatomy. The relationship between Meredith and Christina reminds me so much of me and BShack. B is my person.
93. Watching Family Feud with Luke every night at 7- I love hearing the crazy things people come up with.. and I'm still waiting for our time to play.. we'll get that $20,000. no doubt.
92. I love living in Lake Bottom..! and I'm so grateful for our cute house.
91. History. I love history. More than just the subject in school- but I even love looking at my own history- my family and where we've come from and where we've been... there's not a better way to see the hand of the Lord than to look at your past.
90. I love the early morning.. before the world is awake.
89. Saturday snuggles with Lukey.
88. I love laying down in a cold bed with warm blankets.
87. one of my favorite things to do is find a cold spot at the bottom of the bed when I have a "hot flash" in the middle of the night.. (I feel like writing that makes me sound like a cat or something... ha)

85. Thrift malls. not all of them- the ones that have REASONABLY priced stuff... not the ones that are over-priced and yuck.
84. Old things.
85. Buying things that no one wants and making them beautiful and wanted.
84. A clean and warm towel right out of the dryer.
83. Snuggle exhilarations- white lavender and sandalwood dryer sheets...
84. oh my goshhhhh and Downy Unstoppables- in wash scent booster!! the pink one smells like fruity pebbles.. NO JOKE!

81. people that are witty- I'm pretty sure that's one of the main reasons why I married Luke. He ALWAYS makes me laugh.
80. my husband's vintage motorcycle- I love that he gets such joy out of something so manly. ;)
79. When Luke makes up silly songs and sings them to my belly! Moses always responds to his daddy's singing.
78. I love a good old fashioned letter. Something about knowing someone took time out of their day to write you a message- it's so precious to me.
77. pictures! I love that a picture can take you back to a moment in the past.

75. The Prince of Egypt. God, Moses, Adventure, Bravery, and not to mention Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston singing TOGETHER?!! Perfection.
74. weddings! I love weddings. I love dressing up and sharing in two people becoming one..!

72. Heath's old T-shirts. They're so comfy and one of the only things that actually fit my pregnant belly!
71. The quilt Maris made me out of some of Heath's old T-shirts.. it traveled the world with me!! I took it everywhere..
70. Along with my pillow. I've had the same pillow since I was little.. It's old and admittedly a little tattered- however, I love it and can't sleep without it!
69. Maris Walls. I am so grateful for our friendship. I love that I can talk to you about anything and I know you will be honest and hold me accountable if I'm being unfair.
68. the way Loudon Walls says "heyyyy!" and always runs to hug and kiss me.
67. I love when Kendall tags random Austrailian/music things on instagram that he knows Luke and I will like.
66. Alden's Blue Steel Zoolander face- that he NEVER does anymore- but, it was one of my favorite faces!
65. I'll just round it off- I love/am grateful for the Walls family.
64. I'm grateful to lead worship in our church.

62. I love watching Jae and Luke be silly. They're seriously like 13 year old boys.
61. I LOVEEEEE Gabe and Kaci, Sundays in the green room are some of my favorite times.
60. Tuesday night small group. I love doing life with people and having deep meaningful relationships with other believers.
59. Talento Sorbetto- Roman Raspberry,,,,,,, YUM- I shouldn't get started on food or it'll be the rest of this list.
58. However, I am thankful for lunches/dinners with people I love. SERIOUSLY my favorite! Something about sitting down with good food and talking about your day... doing "happy sandwiches"- I just love it.
57. my mama. She goes above and beyond for me and my little family- I couldn't ask for a better role model or a sweeter friend.
56. my nanny!! she's one of the most thoughtful people I know. She also has the cutest and sweetest southern voice and taught me everything I know about being a "fancy southern woman."
55. my meemaw! She taught me the power in prayer without ceasing, what it means to have a servant heart and that you should always offer something to eat and drink to any house guest you have!
54. I am grateful to have such beautiful nieces and a handsome nephew- who exemplify the command to love God and love others!
53. Hunter and Kelly. My brother and sister-in-law.. I love their courage to step-out of their comfort zone and move to a new place to have a better life for their family.
52. Game nights with Jaima and Chris Adams. I love that I can always count on them for a fun night with good conversation.

49. A tender mother-in-law that seeks the best in people and always has a listening ear.
48. I could list all the Smiths and the things I love/am grateful for about each of them, however- like food, it'd take up the rest of this list... ;) So I'll just say- I'm grateful to have married into such a precious, Godly, loving, family.

46. all of my sweet friends that live in other parts of the world- I'm grateful for texts/internet to keep us in touch- (even though I stink at it sometimes) Laine, Elisabeth, Emily, Teresa, Ellen, Hansons, McKenzies, etc. etc.

28. How loving and supportive my Aunt Marcia and Uncle Mack are! They came and helped us settle into our new house and I'm so grateful for them!

22. Ok, ok, I know I wasn't going to mention the Smiths again, but I MUST say, I LOVE my father-in-law. He's such an awesome example of love and strength. I am so grateful for him and miss him when he's overseas!!
21. I love a good record. Nothing sounds quite like vinyl.
20. Instant film. Iphones and Ipads are awesome- but I love hard-copies of memories!
19. Josh Shorey's pottery. We have only a few cups and things but they're my favorite things we have!
18. A giggling baby. laughs are contagious.
17. Finding videos on Youtube that make me laugh. (Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are usually good bets since I don't stay up late enough to see their shows in real-time)
16. Gold. Everything gold. Jewelry. Pens. Paint. Frames. Plates... etc. I like to think it's God's way of preparing me for heaven ;)
15. Rainbows.. the flip-flops and actual rainbows. The ones in Aus and NZ were so beautiful.. oh Lord, let me go back!!
